Yeah, the chemicals on my pressure treated wood were greenish, so it may have had some copper in it.  I don&#039;t know if it was actually arsenic or not, but the way I see if it it&#039;s a chemical that can keep wood looking good for years in the rain, snow and sun then it&#039;s probably strong enough that I don&#039;t want it on my hands or in my bloodstream :-)  Thanks for the kind words!</description>

		<description>When I was a fence contractor, we primarily used pressure treated lumber as well for our wood fence installations. There is a wealth of information on the internet about different types of pressure treating methods. I think if you do your research you will find that most of the pressure treated lumber on the market today uses copper versus the old way which was arsenic. Also, the pressure treated lumber I preferred to purchase for my customers was &quot;bright&quot; and looked more yellow instead of green.
