One of the most exciting aspects of owning a house that’s…umm… “less than perfect” is imagining all the cool things you could do with your house if you had the time and money. It’s really a blank canvas and the possibilities themselves make it exciting.

That’s why I often find myself surfing over to the Home Improvement Ideas blog to see browse through some of the newer gadgets, home improvement ideas and products available. Each day they feature another product or resource and almost always link to where you can find out more about it. They don’t really give you much more detail than a typical sales brochure, but it does a great job of presenting a lot of options and products I would probably never have found out about on my own.

If you’re looking for some slightly less conventional products and ideas, then surf on over to Bob Vila’s blog called On the Level. This blog is not written by Bob himself, but it does present a lot of new products, ideas and services that can help you improve your own home.

While I’m not sure if I’d ever actually implement many of these new home improvement discoveries, it’s definitely fun to browse through them and get some ideas of my own, usually on a much smaller scale than what’s shown on these blogs.
